The college I'm attending has a good amount of people interested in learning Blender and so I have offered up some free time to teach students and teachers interested in Blender outside of our timetable. As of writing this I haven't taught the first lesson yet but this project will be updated when I have. I have done a trial run on a friend that hasn't used Blender much, though.
The intention for the first lesson is just to get their hands in a lot of parts of Blender without going too deep into any. Here they will learn viewport movements, window switching, very basic modelling, basic shader node manipulation, lighting and colouring tricks, and how to make very basic renders pop with volume and compositing. My plan was the lesson would take about 90 minutes, and the trial took about 60 minutes. I do foresee a lesson of several students taking longer as the chance of being confused or asking a question increases, however I don't see it taking longer than the 90 minutes I planned for.
